We have re-scheduled the
guided visit (in English) of
the apartment and studio of Le Corbusier.
We invite you to visit Saturday the 12th of January, 2019.
The controversial but brilliant Charles-Édouard Jeanneret (1887–1965), known as Le Corbusier, was an architect, designer, painter, urban planner, writer, and one of the pioneers of what is now called modern architecture. The Corbusier Foundation has recently completed extensive renovations of his apartment and studio in the 16th arrondisement, where he lived and worked between 1934 and 1965. The apartment itself is a prime example of his theory and practice, and served as a site of experimentation for his work and ideas.
