Come join us for a trip to the land of insects!  François Lasserre promises a guided tour of the "whys and wherefores" of the ambivalent relationship humankind maintains with these little creatures! Do we need them? Do they need us?

François Lasserre is an "insectologue biodiversifié." With his many publications and books, he offers a totally different perspective on insects, from biology to ethics and philosophy. He is Vice President of OPIE (Office Pour les Insects et leur Environment), Administrator of Grain IdF (network of environmental education) and of TRACES (scientific mediation).

He has published many books on the subject of insects, notably his « bêtes » sellers, Les Insectes en Bord du Chemin et Les Super Pouvoirs des Petites Bêtes (pictured above and available to purchase at the luncheon).
