Join us for an private, guided tour of the highly acclaimed exhibition dedicated to Iris van Herpen, undeniably one of the most visionary fashion designers of her generation.
Aptly titled Sculpting the Senses, the exhibition immerses us in the world of the designer by paying tribute to her distinctive approach to fashion, transcending conventional norms by seamlessly blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative new technologies. Renowned for her close collaboration with architects, scientists, biologists and fellow artists, this designer extraordinaire draws inspiration from the unique synergy of different disciplines coming together to present fashion from different perspectives.
From the micro to the macro and spread over two floors, the retrospective blends over 100 of van Herpen's iconic creations - think 3D-printed dressed and laser cutting - with contemporary artworks, installations, and photographs. Carefully curated around eight major themes, the exhibition creates a captivating journey through the evolution of her work..
