Bryan Hymel
American Tenor Singing French Opera
Tenor Bryan Hymel, a New Orleans native and a graduate of the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, is the winner of the 2013 Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Opera for his trio of performances in Les Troyens, Robert le diable, and Rusalka at London’s Royal Opera House. He has since performed on all major stages and is currently at l’Opéra de Paris singing the role of Don José in Bizet’s Carmen.
Bryan will speak to us about his experiences on stage and off, his training and current repertoire, as well as his future projects.
